Malaysia Airlines Celebrates Chinese New Year With Special Dishes

February 4, 2016 – Malaysia Airlines is ushering in the Chinese New Year with special dishes at its Golden Lounge at the KL International Airport (KLIA).

Passengers travelling first class, as well as Enrich Platinum members dining at the first class dining room, can enjoy Prosperity Yee Sang Salad, Braised Supreme of Duck with Orange Sauce fragranced with Star Anise and Pineapple Tarts.

“These dishes will be available starting today and throughout the festive season until Feb 14,” it said in a statement.

A selection of Dim Sum, Yee Sang Salad and Pineapple Tarts will be served in the business section of the Golden Lounge from Feb 7-9.

“Our festive menu reflects Malaysia’s melting pot of cultures. We are delighted to be introducing these dishes for our guests as part of the Chinese New Year celebrations,” said Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Simmons.

Meanwhile, Malaysia Airlines has reminded passengers travelling during the festivities to check-in via website or MHmobile at flymas.mobi as early as 48 hours prior to their departure.

Passengers can also use the self-check-in kiosks available at the KLIA and other domestic airports.
