Alesia Capital Group Strengthens Natural Resources Division
October 9, 2018 – Alesia Capital Group today announced that Guillermo Váldes will join the firm as Global Head of Natural Resources Group for the Americas.
Guillermo Váldes will mainly be based in Sao Paulo and will frequently travel around Latin America, with Venezuela and Brazil being the main countries of interest.
Mr. Váldes started his career at Spanish based Banco Sabadell where he was a Hedge Fund Manager. He then joined La Caixa for 3 years in a similar role before joining BBVA where he was most recently Senior Research and Exploration Analyst of Natural Resources before being head-hunted by Alesia Capital Group.

Guillermo Váldes earned an MBA in Banking and Finance from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain.
